I hope all of you have a nice Thanksgiving. Seriously.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Had way to much turkey and my brother brought me a couple of case of Yuengling's! It has been a good day.

what a day. slept in, made a killer breakfast for the family, watched the macy's parade. went to an thorp's mom & dad's place for the afternoon
snacks and drinks, then drove to my in-law's for dinner. my first time eating meat since the summer. so much deliciousness. i was asleep on the
couch by 10 last night. ha!
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

We enjoyed the Italian 2 phase feast.
1st phase: Lasagna, garlic bread, salad, meatballs and sausages.
2nd phase: traditional Turkey, stuffing, taters, green beans, home made mac n cheese and other assorted delights.
no alcohol.
desert treats a plenty.
sitting here drinking coffee hoping to take a 20lb dump any minute now.....

Glad to hear y'alls was great! I worked on Thursday, as I do every year, but I actually like it, I like hanging with my old farts at the nursing home.
Everyone bitches to me about their kids, grandkids, great grandkids.....
Plus, I see no point in arguing with my stepson's mom, so we get him Thursday night, and had our feast on Friday. Lowell made the bird,.. I made all
the fixens with no corn/wheat (much harder then you'd think) and we had a great stay in PJs all day kind of day.
