Discipline news
Not sure if you guys knew this, but Discipline has enlisted a new singer and it's the guy who was the frontman for the band Banner Of Thugs. (amazing
band).
Should be interesting to see if they release new material.

^ HA!
I knew they had played some shows in Europe, but hadn't heard much about how they went. Curious to see what's next for them. I still love that
record we put out.

i already saw them with the new guy. he hasn´t such a strong voice as joost had, but he does a good job. they sound a bit more hardcore nowadays, but
all of them seemed to have fun beeing back on stage again, so it´s fine for me.

The Discipline name should be put to rest. Time for something new. Also, I'm with Roland when it comes to Backfire, those guys are amazing.

I remember seeing a Backfire! with Sworn Enemy or something at Reverb in Toronto 10+ years ago and no idea if it was the European band or not.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

hopefully they will record something new with him, and maybe re-record some of their old songs. I have a hard time listening to the old stuff since
what happened.

No doubt. Especially on songs like that one. Impossible to forget.
