I love House of 1000 Corpses, but its really not that great of a movie. I just really like the characters. Its a cheezy 70's horror movie with pretty much every horror cleshe ever in it.

Devils Rejects is a better movie. Again, its not an awesome movie, but I really liked the characters so I was into it.

Neither is super gorey and gross and its not scary like "things jumping out at you". I guess its in the vein of Texas Chainsaw Massacre minus some of the scares. Its definitly worth checking them out though.

Didn't see the House... but saw this and hated it. Didn't even cross over into funny like Troma movies, etc, and was just all shock value and really poorly constructed screenplay/narrative. The effects were done well though.

Was "March of the Penguins" like "Milo and Otis"? or was it more of a real documentary? Did the narrator do slightly differant voices for the characters?

You really dont need to have seen HOUSE to see DEVILS. The back story is simple.

- Crazy "Family" lives in a farm house
- They kill a bunch of people
- they almost get caught and kill some cops

- the police show up at the farm house & Devils Rejects starts

there are some parallels between the 2 films, other then the obvious of it being the same villians, but they do a good job of making it a stand alone film incase you didn't see the house of 1KC
it was better then land of the dead, war of the worlds and that new willy wonka...
but still slow at times...
I don't think they will ever make horror like they used to.
I liked all the 70's cameos
as it is done in a 70's horror film style, it's good he used these actors

but it's still rob zombie and the only original idea he ever had was to take everything he loved about music, art, and film, and exploit them to no end and make a lot more fucking money those who creaated his arts for him.

Im still totally obsessed with these characters... I wish they would make a companion book or something. I want to know HOW/IF everyone is really related liek they say in the movie.

Baby is Spaulding daughter
Otis is Babys brother
Mama Firefly is Babys mother
there are NO mentions of Mother Firefly or Spaulding being related to Otis
Spaulding is Chariles Brother (Charlie is a black guy)
Tiny is Babys brother (I think)
RJ is Babys brother

I just really like the characters. I just got a 5 foot poster of them at the table in the "Last Supper Painting" Style. Not sure where to hang it, but it rules!
