I formally swear that this is really me writing this facebook blurb! Seriously though, for anyone interested, this is Rob Lind.
So... heard any good rumors lately?

2. gossip; hearsay: Don't listen to rumor
3. Archaic. a continuous, confused noise; clamor; din.
I find the last definition to be particularly apt... especially when it comes to describing the endless puling whine of the hoards of sad, faceless,
under-sexed little pukes that seem to infest the inter-web in general and constitute the bulk of the online music "scene" in particular hahaha!
It's been a long time. Where to begin?
Well for starters (and to channel a bit of Sam Clemens, which I find kind of auspicious for my first personal public statement in over 5 years
hahaha), the persistent and regularly recurring rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated... thus far anyway.
The rumor that Ramallah is playing the TNT Fest this year is true. All relevant details such as the exact date, time, line-up, etc. will be announced
ASAP and will be made available on this and Ramallah's page.
I have been making preparations to return to music for over two years. Clearly there have been some delays, set-backs and even a surprise here and
there (and prior to that I had to take a little 3 and a half year long sabbatical for myself)... but I didn't deal with or dodge (often narrowly)
death, prison, smack-addiction, suicidal ideation, Type 2 Bi-polar Disorder and a buffet of other nasty scenes and fates just to quit now.
I have new music recorded and more in the works as I type, two books coming, new merch line, a comprehensive web-thingey on the way, and a lot more
(and that’s not your typical salesman's hyperbole: there is a lot of stuff I am withholding from mentioning at the moment). Once the web-hub is up and
running, anyone interested will be able to go there to find info on all of these things. For what it's worth, I am back from the Land Of Nod and I’ve
been busy…
For now, any and all news, updates, links, nude-photos and other information will posted here so stay tuned if you are so inclined.

P.S. I have obviously finally taken a big swig of the facebook Kool-Aid, but in my defense, I only created an account a few months ago and initially
that was solely to stalk a woman online. In an interesting turn of events (and in further defense of myself), it now appears that the woman in
question and I are going to end up getting hitched. So I feel that any lingering creepiness on my part has been exonerated. Also, just to be clear, I
never otherwise use or look at my own sites (I don't read posts or pay attention to the endless stream of crap the site dumps in my email inbox). This
is not entirely arrogant disinterest: I'm not even sure I'd know how to do anything with it even if I wanted to (when I tell you that my entire FB
experience has been confined to leaving the stalkee's page up for weeks at a time, I am not exaggerating).
P.P.S. I will be making much more elaborate and topical statements on a variety of subjects in the near future, but for now I would like to thank
everyone that truly stuck by me over the years of my hermitage. I will get around to listing everyone but for now, you know who you are and you know I
know who you are too...
