Favorite film franchise

Curious to see what people pick. My favorite movie ever is Aliens, but only the first two movies were "great" while the third was somewhat mediocre and the fourth one is pretty bad. Most of my life I have always said that the Star Wars trilogy was my favorite series. The prequel trilogy had some good stuff here and there, but don't live up to the greatness of the first movies. All that being said, having watched yet another Batman marathon yesterday, I will have to go with Nolan's Batman trilogy as my favorite of all time. I never thought anything would top Star Wars but Nolan pulled it off. I would rate all three Batman flicks as 10/10.

Lord Of The Rings, for me. It's surpassed the Star Wars Original Trilogy for me, even. Which is almost unthinkable. It's the largely faithfulness to the source material and thus the thoroughness of Tolkien's world-building that makes me say that.

10/10 on the Batman, huh? powerful!

My first pass...
Lord of the Rings
Bourne (didn't even bother with the most recent non-damon film, though)
Sherlock Holmes
007

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Maybe the original Halloween series too.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Jason X was hilarious I loved it. Plus, he looked fucking badass when they fixed him up.
