Philly area people

I may be relocating to the Philly area in late July early August. The determining factor will be of I have a job lined up once I get there. Any ideas what the job market looks like and what types of places are hiring? I have a bachelors degree and I'm currently working a manufacturing job. I have experience in office work as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Look for jobs in NYC as well. It's an easy commute by train. Good luck.

Philly rules, because I live on the outskirts.
You'll find something.
The winters these last 2 years have been easy.

I haven't lived in Philadelphia since 2006 but I can tell you this. Wherever you end up living, be wary of any job that would result in you commuting on Route 76 (the Schuylkill Expressway). It is a parking lot during rush hour (in both directions). I wasted way too many hours commuting in and out of the city 5 days a week.

hahaha, yeah, commuting on 76 has got to suck. so glad i haven't had to do it.

what did you go to school for? you on linkedin? If not, get on it. start checking sites like phillyjobs.com, indeed.com, linkedin.com, etc.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
