did i get ripped off?

last night i bought what is supposed to be a first print youth of today s/t 7". (well actually, my girlfriend bought it for me after i was drooling over it for about 15 minutes before putting it back since i couldn't afford it) but anyway, how can i tell if it's genuine? i mean, i trust the guy who sold it, i just want to make sure.
