If you guys wanna talk about whisk(e)y, I night as well throw in a plug for my wife. She's relaunching The Whisky Witch, where she does classes, tastings, and consults for bars and restaurants. She's also expanding into other things as well like tarot readings (which she already does, but is now combining them with this, hence "Whisky Witch"), and maybe some vintage barware, clothing, and accessories. More info on that as we get that rolling.

She really knows her stuff, and I've seen more than one person claim that they don't like whiskey, only to be turned on to something she found for them. If you're looking to do something for a private party or a fundraiser or something, definitely check her out on Facebook.

For those of you in the Boston area, she's doing a tasting at the Bell In Hand on Friday, June 21st. It's a benefit for Alzheimer's. It was originally supposed to be at the Black Rose, but they cancelled with less than a week's notice because they got a request for a corporate event, and in their words, "We'll make more money."

Right now, it's just her, going to private parties and stuff, doing tastings and classes. She used to work through her cousin's store here in Worcester, KJ Barron's. She hasn't done much with them lately, but they're moving locations to a place that's near our house, so she might start up with them again. But we're looking into getting back into private parties and stuff like that.

Figured I'd bump this back up, seeing as the whisk(e)y tasting is tonight.
