Is this too much?

It seems crazy to me that this kind of thing could actually happen. Isn't this a bit too intrusive?

Apparently not because she was on the board of the daycare when they made the decision lol. I see their logic of trying to stop kids being sent to this place with only junk food, since they're the ones who have to deal with unruly kids all day & Jamie Oliver proved food is a huge factor in childhood behaviour.

However, I think the fine/penalty should only be levied if they're missing most/all of the nutrition requirements. All around that was a solid lunch, a fine for missing one aspect of an otherwise healthy lunch is stupid.

What about this? Drivers forced off the road into a parking lot to submit DNA samples including blood & saliva for a government research study on drunk driving. Police escorts etc, no mention it's voluntary/you can opt out etc. That's kinda fucked - http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/North-Texas-Drivers-Stopped...

Or this, father arrested for picking up child from school by foot instead of arriving by car. http://thefreethoughtproject.com/father-arrested-pick-specia... & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8r-bdcvx8E

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

horseshit. i understand the point - ensuring children are getting a good, balanced, healthy meal - but this is following the letter of the law WAY too closely. like ritz crackers are a nutritious choice.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.
