This is all awesome. I look at all of this as new. Don't care how long the band has been around. It's new to me. This is the true value of this board.
That and all the cool shits who hang here.

That one dude looks straight out of Duck Dynasty. Never heard of these guys before, but I'm digging this tune.

I'm glad I'm not the only one not liking Rise of the Northstar. I heard them a while back and it was so terrible I'd forgotten all about them.
I don't imagine many people here will be into this though, band from Spain called Decadence. I have no idea what H8000 metalcore is (I guess think
Goodlife Recordings early days), apparently 90's euro-metalcore (Arkangel, Congress, Liar etc). Either way they sound fucking brilliant.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Decadence ain't my thing, but looking at their bandcamp page I think it's cool that they list the local scene as Southern Spain and Northern Africa.
The first mention of African punk/hc I ever heard was a Facebook group for South African hardcore I came across a couple weeks back, now this. That's
cool.

H8000 was a belgian "movement" in the nineties with bands like congress, blindfold, arkangel, liar and others. they played integrity influenced
hardcore with a strong death metal edge.
the name h8000 came from the area they lived in. it was the postal code of the cities they came from.

i listen to a lot of australian stuff at the moment. their scene seems to be quite strong right now.
impact zone: straight edge skinheads with a 7". eight songs in ten minutes
http://www.impactzone.bandcamp.com
outright: aggressive hardcore with female vocals
http://outright-hc.bandcamp.com/
cold ground: more punk/ old school sound. release a split lp w/ wisdom in chains

southpaw: tough guy stuff

panzerkreuzer I'll have a listen, I haven't heard any of those Aussie bands lol. I live under a rock.
Relentless is playing tomorrow night with Comeback Kid, 99% sure I'm skipping it. Will go to Merauder in November with Against and some locals
opening.
Survival I think is a band I saw a while back, they were really good. Relentless' last record was good, never seen them live though.

I heard some new local bands recently when Merauder came through, not a fan of some of it, but some of it's ok.

My wife and her friend yelled at me back during the summer because I was not into CIV.
not that I am not into CIV or dislike CIV, I just only heard that song that was on MTV and the radio in the 90s.
My wife and her yapping, she never stops yapping.

The band I talk about in this thread, The Lower Orders, has a 12" ep coming out on Lionheart Records. I wrote a review of the record if anyone is
interested (scroll down for English version): http://deadpress.pl/index.php/2015/03/the-lower-orders-st-re...
You can pre-order the ep, along with a nice t-shirt, here: http://lionheartrecords.bigcartel.com/
