Videos where the lyrics pop up on screen while the song plays. Lots of bands seem to be doing them recently for album promos. No one is expecting HC
bands to be writing prose...not everyone is Paulie, but seeing 'See Spot run' type lyrics pop up while a song plays is really cringe inducing
awkwardness.

Those would actually at least be amusing.
The new SOIA one was the video that had me dry heaving. It was like some Hot Topic Korn kid in JNCOs was giving a sermon on rebellion or something.
Most HC lyrics are pretty dumb...no one really assumes otherwise, it's supposed to be guttural and to the point. But parading them out there synced
with the song just amplifies it.
Plus it's just kind of a stupid trend. Don't want to make a real video, just show the album cover with lyrics bouncing around.
