joe coffee / murphys law last night
Well, the bands were scheduled to play at the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention, but at the last minute got moved down the street to the Independence
Brew Pub. It was better, because the sound in the center sucked big time. So it ended up more or less being free to get in at the brew pub if you were
lucky enough to know about it. Ray from Joe Coffee is always a helluva nice guy whenever i see them....anyway, that place got packed. JC was really
good, and Paul almost appeared to be in a good mood, and I dont remember him insulting too many people. Murphys Law was awesome. I didnt realize how
many of the house IPAs i drank until that point, and for $3 a beer it was a helluva bargain. It was the first time in 10 years I slam danced. Everyone
up at the stage was being cool, jimmy was doing the usual fun srtuff, handing out beers and what not. They did Six Pack from Black Flag and Tush from
ZZ Top as well as all their classics. Also may I mention, that there was no security in this place whatsoever. It is not a place where there is usually
live music either, it is more of an upscale brew pub. Anyway, that was for sure the best time I have had at a show in 10 years as well. To make it
better, i ran into my friend Steve whom I hadnt seen in 7 years who is a really good guy i missed.(mrbadvibes, you know who im talkin about) my head
hurts right now, and i am very surprised the rest of me doesnt....

I gotta see Joe Coffee live. I love their cd so much I bought both versions of it. Murphy's Law live is always guaranteed fun.

two versions of it? like the pokemon game....its sad i know that
just take a look at the papers
your leaders
they\'re killers
they\'re liars
what they do in your
name to make the bodies pile higher
the murders, the terror
they\'ve done it forever
as we sit band and smile
at the script they sell us
but now the victims, they\'re rising
their numbers\'s multiplying
they want their revenge for the years
that they\'ve been dying

There was the original version with a brown cover on Ant Hill Mob records, and then later on the second version (that Thorp carries) came out with the
blue cover. I bought it because it had an extra track on it.
