I tried to watch a bit because Futurama was boring but man, same batter and like 12 pitches plus throwing over to first. Incredibly fucking boring shit.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

this is what we call "revenge" for last year. I have to say though... I was just waiting for them to blow it. Right up to the last out I was worried that they'd find some way to lose the game. They've done it in the past.

I had pretty much written them off as gone after them being down 3 games to none too. Im a horrible fan, but part of it is a defense mechanism. Last year was such a disappointment that I didnt want to assume anything in regards to them winning this year. I was seriously depressed after they blew game 7 last year.

Anyway... to all yankee fans... dont sweat it. Youre team will be in the playoffs again next year. Give Boston a chance to win for once.

i'm not much of a baseball fan, but i am a new yorker, and we have all pretty much come to expect that the yankees will be in the world series every year. it's almost as though the whole premise behind the world series has always been that some other team plays the yankee's at the end of the year. playoffs are for everyone else.
