Oi Polloi

I was just wondering if anyone else on here digs these guys. I'm not much one for environmental issues, but they made some badass fucking music.

Seen them once and liked them live, some great tunes, but the extremist class war, "kill the rich" politics stuff I could live without.

If you wanna' avoid all the animal rights and politics I'd suggest "Unite and Win" and "Punks and Skins Vol. 2", a split they did with The Betrayed. If you pick up "Unite and Win" on CD all the tracks from Punks and Skins are included as bonus tracks (minus The Betrayed which is shit anyway). That's pretty much all the Oi Polloi you'll ever need in my opinion.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

Old Oi Polloi is fucking great, once they started getting all hippy they started sliding downhill. The Punks and Skins split was my first Oi record, bought when I was about 13 and I still think it's fuckin' great. I actually really like The Betrayed side too.
