Stern on Sirius...

I listen to Howard everyday & they have been getting lots of calls and emails from people complaining about all his bitching about Viacom, the bosses, the negative publicity and all the stuff going on with his move. I also remember awhile back when people complained about him bitching about ClearChannel, Bush, the FCC and all the government crap.

Personally I really like hearing all that stuff. I should be ashamed to admit this but Howard is the way I get the majority of my news. So I really like when he talks about current events and how they effect him.

What I'm wondering now is how the show will be when its all comedy. Once hes on satelite he wont be able to bitch about the FCC or most of the other stuff. Im definitly going to get Sirius and I'll listen and I'm sure it will be funny, but in a differant way I think.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

i think that he'll continue with his news portion of the show in some shape or form, just in the beginning the focus will probably be on all the stuff he couldn't do where he is now. im curious to see just how different it will be. he seems very certain that his best material has been kept under raps by the fcc so we'll see if the past 20 years or so were just a precursor to the real deal....

I will not buy surius but maybe in like 5 or so years things will be cheaper and I will ahve more money maybe I'll subscribe to radio. Right now its not in my budget fro a long long time. Its a shame becasue I have listened to his show since 95. Great show and wish things were cheaper with satellite radio.

i dont know if i will goto siruis, however i wont listen to howards replacement, i love when he gets mad at bush and fcc , its the only time howard gets really mad. Sometimes howard pisses me off, but all in all he does a great show and it seems he really does care about his audience.

just take a look at the papers
your leaders
they\'re killers
they\'re liars
what they do in your
name to make the bodies pile higher
the murders, the terror
they\'ve done it forever
as we sit band and smile
at the script they sell us
but now the victims, they\'re rising
their numbers\'s multiplying
they want their revenge for the years
that they\'ve been dying

dudes...I have Sirius and it's super worth it. If the stuff Howard has on his Sirius channel now is just the tip of the iceberg like he says then the stuff he does on his own show on Sirius is gonna be crazy as shit. I can't wait.
P.S. - I just recently got Fartman, Beetlejuice, and Hank the Dwarf tattooed on my arm..along with HEY NOW.

I did...tonite, after I posted the pics here. It'll prolly go unnoticed but whatever...it's prolly my favorite shit I have tattooed on me. I did the drawing myself...some of the small details got lost in the tattoo but I still love it.
