Ive been waiting for a new album by The First Step. It can't come soon enough.

I'll have to get at this list a bit later, but some other stuff people said looks cool too. Actually, isnt Have Heart supposed to be putting something out soon? I love their EP.

Since I have no idea whats due in 2006, I'll use the Lambgoat upcoming schedule & whats mentioned ont he board.

1) Sick of it All - whatever they are putting out
2) North Side Kings - whatever it is, after the last cd it has to rule
3) Jungle Fever - self titled EP, amazing Adelaide band
4) Stronghold - new album on Washed Up out in a few weeks followed by full Aussie tour, great band
5) Miles Away - Consequences (pretty sure we got it out here, after seeing them last month they have got me hooked and I want it!)
6) Ramallah - Kill A Celebrity (i thought it was out already? i only got the debut EP so i want whatever else they do)
7) The Kill Decibel - a new cd has to be due this year! and it should be on THORP!! (i will never give up until they are signed, best Canadian band easily)
8) Rain on the Parade - disocgraphy! hell yeah

I have no idea who else is putting out records this year but I'd love to get (released already or not even in the works) new 100 Demons, Out To Win, Ramallah, Killwhitneydead, Champion, Blood For Blood, Sinners And Saints and a bunch more. 2005 didn't exist musically for me, I heard no more than 3 new bands/records and it sucked. Blacklisted wins for best of though easily (mostly because its one of the only new ones I heard!)

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Is there gonna be a new Bad Vibes record?

Other than that, I'd say Ducky Boys, Welch Boys, Slumlords and I'm not sure who else has stuff coming up.

Those guys are playing over here in New Zealand real soon. I've only heard one song but it sounded real good.
