new Megadeth album

yes yes... nothing will top Peace Sells... or Rust in Peace, but this new album is pretty damn good. It's got some songs that sound like older Megadeth and some that have the newer sound.

I saw them in Boston last weekend and they were fucking awesome. I was wasted, headbanging, throwing the horns and just totally getting into it. Ive been listening to them all week.

Im sure there will be lots of "no" answers, but anyone heard the new cd?

Yes

The system has failed has some good songs, but you always find yourself comparing everything to rust in peace and peace sells. The intro to kick the chair is heavy.

that is very true. it's hard not to think of what they USED to be. Kick The Chair fucking rules though, and overall the album is pretty solid. I dont like the second song though. Apparently they made a video for it, but I havent seen it.

Actually on the new album Truth Be Told is the catchiest, maybe one of my favorites on it.

I remember we listened to megadeath when I crashed at your place.

i never really listened to megadeath. they were a little too 'denim jacket' for me and i was a little too 'nailed to the x' for them back in 80s. time to make some dubs for duane!

here is an mp3 to "kick the chair"" from the new album. Megadeth's website has the mp3 to "die dead enough" which is kinda lame.

I always thought that Megadeth had some amazing tunes, at least back in the old days, but I could never listen to them because I always thought Dave's vocals were fuckin terrible. I could never stand his voice.
