What To Eat (Always, Often, Occasionally, Rarely)- I Fixed the test


Target Foods

Always Eat

Almonds and other nuts- unsalted
Beans and Legumes
Spinach and other green vegetables
Dairy (Fat free or low fat milk, yogurt, cheese)
Instant Oatmeal (unsweetened, unflavored)
Eggs
Turkey and other lean meats
Peanut Butter (Natural Peanut Butter not Jiffy or Peter Pan)
Olive Oil
Whole grain breads and Cereals
Extra Protein (whey powder get 24 grams of protein per serving anything less isn?t good)
Raspberries and other berries

Eat Often

Apples, Asparagus, Avocados, Bananas, Brown Rice, Canadian Bacon, Canola Oil, Citrus Fruits and Juices, Fruit Juice (no sugar added), Lean meats like Ostrich, Garlic, Lentils, Mushrooms, Melons, Peach, Peanut Oil, Peas, Peppers, Pizza-plain or with vegetables, Popcorn-fat free, Shellfish and bivalves-steamed or baked, Soup-broth based, Sunflower seeds, Sweet Potatoes.

Corn, Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli and brussels sprouts), Edamame, Eggplant, Flaxseed, Fruit-dried, Nut Butters (almond and cashew), Onions, Pasta-whole wheat with tomato sauce and/or vegetables, pumpkin seeds, Prunes, Ricotta Cheese- part skim, Salsa, Sesame Oil, Tea, Tofu, Tomato Sauce, Vegetable juice, Veggie Burger, Red Wine.

Eat Occasionally

Graham Crackers, Granola- low fat, Energy Bars, Ham, Honey, Low fat Ice Cream, Jam, Pork tenderloin, White Rice, Sauerkraut, Sorbet, Veal, White Wine, Frozen yogurt,

Applesauce, Baked Beans, Baked potatos, Light Beer, Light Butter, Chocolate, Coffee with low fat milk, Lamb, Lasagna, Lunchmeat, Macaroni, Margarine trans fat-free, Nuts ? salted or smoked, Pudding low- fat.

Eat Rarely (OK, never)

Bacon, Bagels, cakes, cookies, Fatty Beef (t-bone), Regular Beer, White Breads (wheat too), Duck, Jellies, Margarine, Non Dairy Creamer, pasta with creamy sauce, Pastries, Peanut Butter (Jiff and Peter Pan), Soft drinks Creamy Soups, Refried beans, Ribs, Creamed or Fried Vegetables (including French fries)

Instead of Refried, try Black Beans or White beans. Is that an option for you?

I've never seen either on my supermarket shelf but i'll have a look around ... i seriously make everything out of refried ... haha.

That's cool. I was shocked when I read the stats on refrieds. Tons of fat apparently.
