holy fuckin' crap. these are the shit.
i've only got two pairs, and i don't wear 'em often, but damn, when i do, it is a pleasure.

Did they cost alot?
Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

- yes. although you can usually find them cheap(er) at the end of the winter season.
- and i can't begin to tell you how comfortable they are. 'comfort' not the sort of thing i consider when buying socks, but honestly, sliding these

i highly recommend them. i mean they're not wool ski socks or anything, but they are extremely comfortable and yes, quite warm!
the pair i'm wearing today are polo. i just asked my wife how much they were and she said 'expensive'. huh.
the other pair is from jcrew, and i know they were $12. they have some women's cashmere sock on their site now for $20/pr.

socks are the only clothing item that i'm picky about. don't know why. with the exception of the two pairs of cashmere, all i own are jcrew cotton
argyle socks. also not cheap, but like i said, it's the only article of clothing i'm particular about.
