What are you doing this weekend?
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Don\'t blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

I have no fucking clue actually. Typically I dont leave my apartment until after the sun goes down on the weekends unless friends visit or I go out
of town. I dont think Im going anywhere this weekend, so maybe I'll wake up after noon and then just drink coffee and watch tv until 5:00pm. Then
I'll play some video games and go to bed. hahaha
any good shows going on?

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

So how was the weekend for everyone else?
Flat Earth Society, 4 In Tha Chamber, Sons of Azrael, Dogz of War & Let It Die were all fucking incredible this weekend & all the other bands who
played were great too. Mosh For Tots brought in a fuckin bunch of toys & food for charity & the bands all had an awesome time.
Toronto is the sketchiest city ever. Never play there unless you play with Mental or some shit.

I wouldn't say Toronto is that bad. It really depends on the show. Every time I go to a show I generally see the usual crowd plus a few new faces.
If it's a bigger band there will be more people, but like I said, it really depends on the show. Unfortunately for you a lot of people might not know
the all the bands that were playing (their loss on that) so there isn't as much incentive to go. I know my plan for the weekend was originally going
to see the Disasters on Friday and then both nights of Mosh For Tots. Unfortunately with my back and neck being so fucked I didn't see anything
except my ceiling. Glad the shows went well and you got some donations, but don't blame Toronto as many bands do quite well here. I know it's a
crazy packed show every time the Dayglo Abortions come to town.

Lost money on the show but still got bands some gas money to get back to NY & Detroit. Raised a lot of toys & food though.
Toronto is good for posi hardcore and thats it. If Marc, Beav or Rick Smith don't do the show nobody gives a shit.
Nobody in Toronto is into the NY sound at all any more. Nobody likes bands like 4 In Tha Chamber, Dogz of War, Stigmata, Fury of Five, Sworn Enemy or
any bands like that. Its all posi shit there.

they had a song called proud to be a canadian, not particularly derogatory. then again, they were never much for subtlety or hidden meaning

I went something like "tony iommi wouldnt care if i pissed in his face".
"I killed mommy with my automatic", now that was an amusing ditty! they certainly don't make 'em like that anymore.

It's "Ozzy Osbourne so off in space, he'd probably love it if I pissed in his face." That's from the song "Acting Like Black Sabbath."

I live and breathe NYHC. The problem is there's too many bands doing the thug thing and it's gotten boring.
