I've been listening to the Bosstones for the last couple of hours. Felt a weird need to listen to them today.

Like I keep saying.... work has been keeping me busy. I have a really full day on Monday so Im trying to get shit out of the way now. Alot of the paperwork I do, and there's tons of it, is time sensative so if I dont have time to do it on one day I have to stay late at some point to finish it. It really sucks.

But.... Im drinking tomorrow so I dont really care.

For a longer explanation if anyone really cares... my job is funded by the city of New York. We serve older people, 60 and older, and as everyone knows this population is gonna explode soon. Well, it's starting and the city's funding hasnt really caught up yet. We're working our asses off here, and we can barely see all of the clients who are referred to us. We really need to hire another worker, but we dont have the funding. Well, I should say that the funding could be there, but we'd have to move to a bigger office to fit everyone, but our rent is $100/month and we could never afford to move anywhere else. The extra funding for the worker would be eaten up by the increase in rent. So, we're in a shitty position and we're packed in like sardines. Plus, the homecare services that we can authorize is grossly underfunded. We have a waitlist of roughly a year for some of the services. It really sucks for us and for our clients.

So, that's why I work late most nights.
