The Upcoming Election.

I only know so much ,being from Canada, about american politics but what do you think of whats happening with the US election? Do you practice your right to VOTE?Why/why not.

Did you know that if every college student in the USA voted this election, they alone would choose who the next president is going to be. Now thats youth power!!! Also more people voted in the last american idol than in the last american election.

Well, it would be hard to trash it any worse than the current administration. Or should I say say admenstruation.

I really have no clue who I want to vote for. Neither of the candidates seem trustworthy.

Its hard to know who or what represents the lesser of 2 evils, but i will say that Kary/Edwards seem be seeking out some real reform for american politics. If Bush gets elected for another term i believe he'll use it as justification for war wherever he wants. I personally hate the idea of one more soldier dieing over there for someone else's SUV. I come from a military family and am supportive of any country's troops, so i feel in a time of war why not elect a president thats actually been in a war.

It makes me fucking sick that Bush's supporters are going to question Kerry on how badly he was injured when he received his medals and yet their boy is such a spoiled rich boy pussy that he couldn't even show up for National Guard duty after his daddy snuck him ahead of tons of other people just to avoid his having to actually go fight in the war that Kerry won medals in. I don't know that Kerry is the answer to our problems, but the shit that Bush's asslickers are saying about him is dishonest and a disgrace to anyone who actually has served in our forces. I'm surprised that John McCain hasn't dropped out of the republican party after first being a victim of the same kind of underhanded bullshit when he was up against Bush in the 2000 primaries and now witnessing it happen to Kerry. I'm glad to see that he urged them to stop doing that, but I thought he would have distanced himself from all of that a bit more.

You forgot to put "right in the eye" on that. I'd buy several if they had the full phrase.;) Oh, hey, you could combine it with the last sticker we talked about on here, make it "george bush is a cock-holster".

Glad I'm Canadian. But I don't see why people automatically assume they have to vote Rep. or Dem. Why not vote for an independant who has something good to say instead of trying to pick the lesser of two evils. I'm no hippy tree hugger but I'd rather vote for Ralph Nader and the Green Party then see Kerry or Bush win. I doubt many on this board would want to see Bush win win, but for those who do here's a word of warning, if he wins it just increases the chances of seeing another Bush (Jeb) come next. May all the Bushes (except the 2 daughters as I wouldn't mind blowing a load on their faces) die a slow, painfully violent death.

No independent candidate will ever win in America....
I don't like that fact,
but those who are in power will do anything to stay there...
there is no real choice here,
but I can't stand the idea of a fundamentalist Christian in charge of the running anything...
bush is out
if the ballot doesn't work, the bullet will

exactly. ol' ralph might have the best ideas since sliced bread, but in this country there are really only two choices, and it's a matter of picking the lesser of two evils. look a the elections four years ago - ralph took votes that al needed in order to win. the democrats have trying to get him to drop out of this year's race since the day after W took office.

Not to mention there are Republican organizations actively promoting Nader to try to use him as a tool to keep Kerry from getting votes. If that's not twisted, I don't know what to call it.

my friend is a registerd Republican and he's voting Nader because some of the stuff Bush has done has made him mad. He doesnt like Kerry either, so he's not gonna vote for him either. This election is gonna be close for sure though... unless we somehow capture Bin Laden at some oppurtune time.

Yeah, how many people would be surprised if Bin Laden turned up right before voting begins? Not me.
Moron, you might want to explain to your friend that he basically IS voting for Bush by voting for Nader, I don't have any particular affinity towards Kerry, but I do believe that the only way to be sure to get Bush the fuck out is to vote for Kerry. Voting independent in this election is only gonna keep that smarmy little idiot in office.

Oh, by the way..... that fucker is NOT from Texas, I don't care what he likes to say, he's a fucking Connecticut born rich boy.

Sorry, it just burns my ass when I hear people say that he's from Texas, not that anyone here did, but it's not true.
