Bad cover songs

I really hate when bands kill really good songs by covering them.

I was listening to the newest Fear Factory (some of you may not dig them but I do) and they cover a Killing Joke song I happen to like and it sounded like complete shit. They totally wrecked it. Don't bands listen to this shit before they release it?

That one was fucking amazing. But this Killing Joke cover just sucked. So did Cars.

Shattered Realm doing Creeping Death, not so much.

BFB doing Ace of Spades was insanely good. I've heard soooooo many horrible versions of that song but BFB did it right.

Have you ever noticed how crayons are a lot like M&M's? All the colors tend to taste the same.

Was that live? I remember SR talking about being a part of a Metallica tribute but never hearing anything about it being released.

B4B was supposed to do a cover of Here To Stay or somethin from Sheer Terror. I saw it somewhere on one of those white trash rob sites that was up for a while. around the time serenity was being recorded.
i think theu woulda been able to do it justice

punk rock jukebox volumes 1 and 2 from blackout records each have allot of pretty good covers on them...
