Top Four in 04

What four albums got the most play from you this past year? They don't need to be new releases, just what you've been playing the most. GO!

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

  2. Starkweather - Croatoan
  3. First Blood - Demo
  4. Blood For Blood - Serenity
  5. Killing The Dream - Demo

2. no warning - s/t
3. blood for blood - revenge on society
4. righteous jams - rage of discipline

i don't really know if this is what i've listened to the most other than the first two. it's more like the second half of the year. the first half is a blur.

Nearly impossible for me to remember or keep track since I always listen to so many different records. Probably like this:

A Day And A Deathwish - self titled
Backhand - Love All
Slumlords - Self titled
The Kill Decibel - Bled Dry
Skarhead - Kings At Crime

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

it's definately difficult to say, but....

Mastodon - Remission
Paint it Black - CVA
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Punishment - Broken but not Dead

the last two are just a guess. The first two have been and still are in heavy rotation.
