Apparently it is a program, because it hit up the site that I write for as well:

http://www.scenepointblank.com

From what the guy that runs our design tells me, the program is a nasty one as well, and might have attacked the main host for our site, so chances are anything on that server got fucked. He said it will take days to fix it up.

that sucks. it is completely possible to attack a server at its root level and essentially affect every site on the box. some of those cheap hosting companies will have thousands of sites on a single server, so the damage could be significant. hope we don't see any of that action. if we do, i hope that being on a secure, dedicated box makes a difference!

A Day And A Deathwish's site was hacked too. NeverEverNoSanity WebWorm generation 7.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
