well I went out and spent a whole lot of money on a pantone mixing system...
instead of doing it all by hand..
but I still hate it
use them...
if a shop can't supply a color close to it then they suck ha ha
if a client wants a color and the shop can't deliver....
find a new shop
use the colros you like...
as fr the process of mixing
each color is made up of any number of 8 color tones and is added to a base
you add the color tones at the specific weight to mix the amount you want
it's touchy and not easy but it's not bad either
