Update on our March of Dimes fundraising
Because everyone here has been so supportive of our fundraising efforts on behalf of the March of Dimes, I want to give you all an update on how we're
doing.
We did the actual walk a few weeks back and had a great time. Aside from my wife and Sadie and I, we had several other family members join us for the
six-mile walk though a local PA state park.
Last year, we raised five times our goal of $500, so we set the bar extra high this year with goal of $5,000. We're up to $4,435, so we're giving
ourselves one more week for that final push.
I'd like to give a big thank you to the Thorp Records crew for all of their contributions. Seventeen donations were made by message board members,
staff and band members the world over for a total $559. The support of our friends within the scene really means a lot to us - especially since I've
never even met the vast majority of you in person.
For those that you contributed, remember that XHonusWagnerX has an offer for you. And if you're a member of the Thorp Board who contributed and you didn't get an email from me last night, lemme know. It hard
figuring out who's who when you don't know people's real names!
Anyway, thanks again for your help and support. I?ll let you know what the grand total winds up being in a few weeks. And if you?re interested... http://www.walkamerica.org/teamsadie
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Dee Snider was in Stern yesterday promoting "bikers for Babies" whish is a 50 mile motorcycle ride through NY and people can sponsor him (nationwide)
for the ride. All the money is for the March of Dimes.
Dee said that both his kids were born premature, but are now luckily ok.
If anyone is going to dontate give to Duane, but I thought it was cool that Dee was doing the same type of thing & for a cause that had also effected
his family.
Check out www.deesnider.xom if your interested.
