they should call it anti woodstock or something to that nature. Marketing hardcore = the death of hardcore as it was invented and intended to be.

i heard this was off to kind of a rocky start, but that things have started to fall in line for one hell of a lengthy lineup.

however, isn't this year's the first 'woodstock of hardcore'?

Plus that link just goes to the bands myspace. Scottie Beatdown has a case of the serious gay!

it seems it did get off to a rocky start, but like you said it is looking be a lengthy lineup. Should be a hell of a weekend though. They have moved the start to friday night now.
This is the first 'woodstock of hardcore' hopefully not the last.

There's actually four bands on that flyer that I can back, the flyer on that gay ass myspace page the original link goes to has The Wretched Ones on it but this one doesn't, so it might even be five good bands at this thing. The name of the fest is ridiculous, but on the other hand, when was the last fest that didn't have a stupid name?

a few comments..

1: Thats just to much text on a flyer. Phew!!

2: Thats a lot of bands! Jeeze... I didnt think there were that many hardcore bands left!

3: Lets start the rumors about the 3 "Special Guests". I heard it was a NEGATIVE FX reunion, a set of CRO-MAGS songs with Harley AND Jon Joseph and a CARNIVORE with members of BIOHAZARD backing up PETE STEEL!

4: It apears that hardcore bands are taking a page out of the deathmetal book when it comes to band logos. I didnt know if this was SPIT Ya Teeth or SPLIT Ya Teeth and they have OF MOTHER opening for them....

#5 I heard the 'one more TBA' on this show was Slayer doing a set of Minor Threat covers with Brian Baker (x Junkyard) playing 3rd guitar.

I didn't realize it until now, but I kind of came off like a jerk in that last post and I didn't mean to. I was just making jokes about the current state of hardcore, not any of those bands or that show or anything else dirrected to you. I'm sorry if it came across another way.

I also checked out the "spit ya teeth" songs on myspace and I liked them.
