GUT INSTINCT '1989-1992' CD/REUNION SHOWS!!!
Ok it's official. The long awaited/talked about GUT INSTINCT 1989-1992 Discography CD is now in progress and will see it's release this July! Just in
time for the band to get back together for 3 reunion shows to celebrate!!!
Yes you read correctly, full GUT INSTINCT REUNION. The CD will feature all the tracks from the almost sold out Disturbing The Peace 7", both demo
tapes, some compilation tracks, and other surprises. This release is a combined effort between A389, Vicious Circle and Parts Unknown Records.

Speaking of long lost Baltimore hardcore classics, we're stoked to announce the first ever official release by Baltimore's HARSH TRUTH. Recorded in
the early 90's, these tracks sound like they should have been side by side with Breakdown or Sheer Terror's tracks on the 'Where The Wild Things Are'
compilation. Limited to 300 copies pressed to come out with the GUT INSTINCT CD and reunion shows, you won't want to miss this!!!

A389 TO RELEASE TAKEN BY FORCE DEBUT 7"
Not one's to drown in nostalgia we're psyched to be releasing the debut 7" by one of Baltimore's best current hardcore bands: TAKEN BY FORCE. Taking
their influences from such bands as Merauder and early Death Threat what you get is no-frills 90's style hardcore with awesome guitar riffs and
sing-a-long choruses. We're aiming for this to be in time out for the GUT INSTINCT shows as well. In the meantime check out an MP3

In other news, PULLING TEETH have gone through a line-up change and original drummer Alex H and new 2nd guitarist Tony have completed the new line-up
which will make it's debut June 24th at the Sidebar in Baltimore for the 100 Demons/ThinkICare show. The original 'Vicious Skin' session has been
scrapped and will be re-recorded sometime in July for a fall release. It will be worth the wait.

ABOUT TO SNAP and SUPREME COMMANDER will have a new 7"s on A389 late this summer. Both bands have records available in the webstore to hold you over
until the new stuff comes out, and in both cases, you won't be disappointed. If you are into bands like Negative Approach/Voorhees/97A crossed with
modern day bands like Striking Distance then the new ABOUT TO SNAP record is going to kill you. If you're into more melodic stuff like Pennywise, H20
and Maximum Penalty, then you'll be all over the SUPREME COMMANDER record!!! Stay tuned for more info on both releases.

Lastly I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who helps keep this going. We've gone from releasing 7"s for our friend's bands every few months,
to putting out new records on a monthly basis. It's totally amazing and makes days like today (where I dug trenches for 8 hours to come home to spend
another 8 hrs doing label stuff) totally worthwhile. With a loaded summer release schedule, fall/winter is turning into an avalanche of awesome
releases coming out. New stuff from NO REDEEMING SOCIAL VALUE, IN COLD BLOOD, TOMBSTONE, and the fabled new INTEGRITY 7" that has been talked about
all year, will all be surfacing in due time. And thats not even all the good stuff. See you next month.

I just listened to the tracks by Harsh Truth and Taken By Force. Both very good stuff. HT is clearly recorded early 90s and is very close to Breakdown
with a touch of Sheer Terror.
TByF is very Merauder style HC.

wisdom in chains is pretty cool, they do a sabbath cover of children of the grave that sounds cool, actually trying to sound like ozzy is amusing to
me but it is pulled off pretty good
