negative approach 7"

Anyone got an og first press N.A. 7"?

I think I want to try to get one but I'm worried about bootlegs and I don't know enough about the record to be sure if I'm getting screwed or not.

Are there any obvious things to look for to make sure its legit? Inserts? Label color? Matrix etching?

Most of the boots I've seen for that record don't even try to hide the fact that they are bootlegs. They've had completely different artwork, different labels, all that. This doesn't seem to be one of the records that has a lot of fake versions out there, at least from what I've seen. This is one of the very few collectible records I still want an original of too. I've had a few chances to pick it up over the years, but there was always some reason not to at those times. I really wish I had just grabbed it, the price sure as hell isn't gonna get any cheaper.

Probably so. Fuck, it's sad to think that a rejected Judge record could bring in enough cash to buy one of the greatest HC records ever made and leave you a pile of cash too.

I have the original vinyl, but not the sleeve (which sucks)...but the vinyl is in great condition....I paid $36 for it on Ebay many years ago.

I have the Tied Down 7" boot and the pressure boot....I don't think I've ever even seen a boot of the first 7" though.
