i'll probably buy it right away, but i won't listen to the whole thing for a couple more years. ...i'm still on my 'one cash cd a year from the
boxset' program. gives me more time to get to know each cd without getting burned out on him.

the point of the whole american series was that rick rubin let johnny cash record whatever he wanted, so you've got a good mix of covers, rerecorded
songs, hymns, and stuff he just wrote, but just never recorded.
