2. NEW RELEASES:
SA38 ? VAN DAMAGE ?Gravedigger? LP - $10
Is it punk? Is it hardcore? Is it old school? Does it matter? No matter how you look at it the fury that Van Damage drops on your ass is some of the
best that PA has had to offer up over the past few years. 15 songs (9 new joints and 6 off of their out of print debut 7") of greatness in the vein of
the Cro-Mags and Turning Point bro-ing down at a Monster truck pull. Complete with guest vocals by Dan Mills (Cold World), Scott Vogel (Terror), &
Hoodrack (War Hungry). For fans of: Good Hardcore.
SA37 ? HANK JONES ?Hey Boys, There?s Beer & Pizza in the Fridge. Love Mom? 7? - $4
These pizza loving Erie & Pittsburg, PA boys are at it again. After 2 years of touring off of their debut CD ?Saturdays of Thunder? Hank Jones were
ready to hit the studio again. The end result was these 6 brand new songs done in their unique style of fast & energetic hardcore. After a few line up
changes the HJ crew are tighter and even better sounding than ever. Plenty of sing a-longs, pig piles, and circle pits can be done to these blistering
and blazing anthems. Similar to great artists such as: Minor Threat, Suicide File, By the Grace of God, & Paint It Black.

162 on blue/yellow:

the rest are on clear w/ orange splatter: http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
SA36 ? THE BREAK IN ?Unbowed? CD - $5
The Break In is one of the most furious and pissed off sounding bands to ever come out of Europe?s straight edge scene. 10 songs of pure metallic
hardcore, fast tempos, and littered with thick breakdowns. On a musical level this is a notch above many. The pounding drumming is superbly executed
and on point, the dissonant guitars add an eerie effect, all the while with some of the most insane & nasty screams you can imagine. This is some of
the meanest and rawest stuff Surprise Attack has released so far. It?s coming from the U.K. but you would think these guys were raised on the mean
streets of Cleveland. Similar too but not mimicking: Ringworm, Earth Crisis, First Blood, Santa Sangre, & Damnation AD.

ATTITUDE ?We All Go Down Together? (1917) CD - $10
With a goal to be influential and not influenced, ATTITUDE have hand-crafted their debut LP as something that they can truly be proud of and stand
firmly behind. With a sound that has been described as "fast rock riffs applied to hardcore rhythms" ATTITUDE can easily be described as "atypical"
and as a result, heads will continue to turn. "We All Go Down Together" is without a question the bands best and most focused work to date, with songs
that represent the search for meaning and identity in a complex world filled with ambiguities from political corruption to the failings of
interpersonal relationships. For fans of: Bane, The Suicide File, and Gorilla Biscuits.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
BAD BLOOD ?Bad Blood? (Double or Nothing) CD - $12
Bad Blood hail from Philadelphia, an area known for delivery some of the most raw and brutal hardcore to date. Bad Blood is no exception and the fury
and rage shines through on this debut disc. Pissed off hardcore for fans of: Terror, Outbreak, & Madball.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
BETRAYED ?Addiction? (Bridge 9) 7? - $4 / CD - $9
Featuring Aram Arslanian, guitar player for Seattle's CHAMPION, on vocals and CARRY ON songwriter Todd Jones on guitar, BETRAYED is pull-no-punches
hardcore full of brutal mosh parts blending with intricate harmonics. The result is the Addiction EP; six songs of pure hardcore, unrelenting and in
your face.
7? - http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
CD - http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
BLOOD FOR BLOOD ?Serenity? (Thorp) CD - $12
On "Serenity", Boston's favorite purveyors of white trash hardcore rock n roll, BLOOD FOR BLOOD, offer the musical documentation of an outlaw's prayer
for redemption under pale street lights crying out for deliverance from a world that offers nothing but coldness and heartache. This record will have
your soul traversing from anger to empathy, from hatred to loving loyalty, from despair to hope, and from hell to heaven, and back to hell again for
another round.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
CASEY JONES ?The Messenger? (Eulogy) CD - $12
CASEY JONES was originally started as a side project by Josh James of EVERGREEN TERRACE. CASEY JONES have now separated themselves from the term "side
project" by stepping up the pace, playing as many shows as possible, and doing their own tours. CASEY JONES have been seen on tour with such bands as
KIDS LIKE US, EVERGREEN TERRACE, UNTIL THE END, CALIBAN, SCARS OF TOMORROW, and many more. The Messenger is the band's first offering for Eulogy
Recordings. The Messenger is the follow up to 2003's The Few, The Proud, The Crucial. This release is still just as heavy but with even more melody in
some of the vocals resulting in really catchy choruses and sing alongs. Imagine if Stretch Arm Strong or Rise Against had even more breakdowns.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
CASEY JONES ?The Few, The Proud, The Crucial? (Indianola) CD - $11.50
Jacksonville Florida has produced another winner and there is no surprise that the band features past and present members of celebrated locals
Evergreen Terrace. On their debut full length ?The Few, The Proud, The Crucial? Casey Jones takes everyone back to when straight edge hardcore was
fast and fun with their own new school approach to the style. Recommended for fans of Minor Threat, Stretch Armstrong, Good Riddance, and Terror.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
CEREMONY ?Violence Violence? (Malfunction) CD - $12
After a well received demo (1000 printed) and a debut 7" that sold 2,000 copies in less than a year, Ceremony gives us "Violence Violence," their 15
song debut full length. If "Ruined" was their declaration, "Violence Violence" is their first wave assault, a soundtrack to wage war. A war against
everything that hardcore has stood against, but now has been co-opted into its ranks. There's no TRL song on here, there's nothing that'll be heard at
a school dance. Hardcore for the hardcore. CD includes the "Ruined" 7" as bonus tracks.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
CHAMPION / BETRAYED ?Split? (Rivalry) 7? - $5.50 / CD - $10.50
This split E.P. combines 3 brand new exclusive songs from one of hardcore's most recognized bands, CHAMPION, with 3 new songs from one of hardcore's
most exciting new bands, BETRAYED (featuring 2 members of CHAMPION and 2 members of CARRY ON). Both bands play fast, yet melodic hardcore in the vein
of CHAIN OF STRENGTH and CARRY ON, though both bands complement each other with different departures from the same traditional sound. CHAMPION's style
is most definitely rooted in late 1980's hardcore with added melodic flavor, similar to that of TURNING POINT, while BETRAYED has defined their sound
somewhere between the aforementioned bands and seminal D.C. hardcore punk legends MINOR THREAT and EMBRACE. COLORED VINYL: Clear
7? - http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
CD - http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
COLD WORLD ?Ice Grillz? (Lockin Out) CD - $12
Tuned down, plugged in and ready to destroy Cold World turn up the heat with their latest release. Blending traditional, no holds barred Madball style
hardcore meets the heaviness of Life of Agony, and urban sensibilities of Biohazard. This also includes their debut EP.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
DANCE FLOOR JUSTICE ?Breaking the Silence? (Double or Nothing) CD - $12
Born from the ashes of some of the finest bands ever to come out of South Florida, Dance Floor Justice is the newest in a long line representing South
Florida hardcore. Featuring current and ex-members of Until the End, Where Fear and Weapons Meet, All Hell Breaks Loose, 24 Hours to Live, and Dead
Weight, Dance Floor Justice came together with the idea of playing fast, furious hardcore with a touch of melody, something that the South Florida
scene was missing. "Breaking The Silence", is a message to the hardcore scene: for far too long people have forgotten their roots, forgotten about the
bands that built this hardcore scene. Dance Floor Justice is here to remind you and rebuild what's been destroyed.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
DEAD HEARTS ?No Love, No Hope? (Reflections) CD - $10.50
Buffalo, New York's Dead Hearts play hardcore with conviction: pushing the genre forward, yet still embodying the passion and urgency that defines its
true spirit. "No Love, No Hope" is an unprecedented hardcore record. Their hardcore roots come through, it's fast, pissed off, and emotional. It has a
driving force that's hard to come across in words, which is what makes memorable music.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
DEAD WEIGHT ?We?ve Seen Better Days? (Double or Nothing) CD - $12
Dead Weight hail from Miami, FL were they have become quickly become an anchor to the South Florida hardcore scene. Featuring Alex Leon, former singer
of All Hell Breaks Loose & Chad from 24 Hours To Live, delivers a power performance on this debut LP that is sure to catch the attention of old fans
and new. For fans of: Terror, Mastodon, & Converge.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR ?Friends, Family, Forever? (Bridge 9) CD - $10.50
Death Before Dishonor, a hardcore band from the hot bed that is the Boston music scene, have been gaining rave reviews for their savage live show
since their inception in 2001. Besides touring with such leading hardcore acts as Blood For Blood, Madball, Death Threat, and Integrity, these
Beantown bruisers have put out two releases with independent Spook City Records. But 2005 is the new dawn of Death Before Dishonor. Known all along as
a band with an unrelenting work ethic, the band has teamed with Bridge Nine to swath their own path through todays hardcore scene. Recorded at The
Outpost with Jim Siegel, FRIENDS, FAMILY, FOREVER is sure to prove the bands ferocity to the world.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...

Boston's Death Before Dishonor are a band that truly embodies what hardcore is about. The songs are intense, yet heartfelt and they bring an
unparalleled presence to their live set. This CD comprises both the True Till Death tracks as well as the tracks from the band's out-of-press split
with Nourish The Flame. This is a must for fans of Madball, Terror, or Integrity.

DONNYBROOK ?No Love for the Insincere? (1917) CD - $5.50
Hailing from Los Angeles CA Donnybrook bring an old-school, in-your-face style that has drawn comparisons to Madball, Death Threat, and Buried Alive.
Formed in early 2003 Donnybrook has taken the Southern California hardcore scene by storm. Already seen sharing the stage with high-profile acts such
as Throwdown, Ringworm, Champion, Integrity, and others.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
DONNYBROOK ?Lions in this Game? (Double or Nothing) LP - $10.50
Hailing from Los Angeles, CA, Donnybrook brings an old-school, in-your-face style that has drawn comparisons to Madball, Death Threat, and District 9.
The group was formed in early 2003 by six friends who were fed up with the insincerity plaguing the scene they grew up loving and believing in. With
their debut four-song EP now out on 1917 Records, coupled with their plans to tour both the East and West coasts (and soon after, the world!), and
you'll see why Donnybrook is poised to thrust themselves into the mix with hardcore's heaviest hitters. In the end, there is only one possible
conclusion you can reach after listening to Donnybrook: This is a hardcore band, made up of hardcore kids, playing for the love of the hardcore scene.
Period. COLORED VINYL: Blue

FIRST BLOOD ?Killafronia? (Trustkill) CD - $12
First Blood features Carl Schwartz, formerly of Terror & Sworn Vengeance, on vocals and they plan to crush the world with the devastating sounds of
"Killafornia." More of what you would expect from this brutal west coast band. Over the top break downs and metallic fast parts littered through out
will make this one of the heaviest hardcore albums to come out this year. I can only imagine how insane their live shows are!
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
FIRST BLOOD ?Demo? (Division 36 / Bridge 9) CD - $6.50
California's Bay Area, better known for it's strong punk scene hasn't been this scared in years. First Blood has torn through Northern California like
a bowie knife. Their crushing guitar riffs coupled with brutally deafening vocals have made First Blood one of the West Coast's best hardcore bands.
With a strong lineup boasting ex-members of Terror and Sworn Vengeance, First Blood has brought their debut ep to the masses.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
FIRST STEP, THE ?What we Know? (Rivalry) LP - $12
The urgency and intensity of Youth of Today, the positive delivery of Insted, and a strongly rooted foundation in old D.C. and Orange County hardcore
- The First Step's first official full length, "What We Know," picks up where they left off on the "Open Hearts and Clear Minds" EP, meanwhile adding
some new flavor along the way. Produced by Walter Schreifels (Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today, Quicksand, Rival Schools), the album explodes with
speed and a blistering vocal delivery, delivering much of what we've come to expect from The First Step. COLORED VINYL: Blue.
LP - http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
FOLSOM ?Folsom ? Reissue? (Spook City) CD - $10.50
Re-issue originally on West Coast World Wide Records + some demo tracks. Relentless, brutal and ready to break your face into a thousand pieces,
Folsom do not waste time in letting the mosh overtake each song. Each of the ten tracks here are laced with double bass bombast, bone cracking chords,
harsh vocals and tales of Suicide Krew life. Get ready to inflict pain.
http://www.surpriseattackrecords.com/store/index.php?main_pa...
FORCED FORWARD ?Forced Forward? (Collapse) CD - $12
DC has always been known as a city ahead of its time, be it in ideas, art, politics or music. FORCED FORWARD is likewise ahead of their time, pushing
a sound that is at once familiar and brand new. Their heavy guitar crunch and driving bass bring to mind bands like 108 and THREADBARE -- now compound
that with the urgency of DC forefathers BAD BRAINS and you start to get an idea of where FORCED FORWARD is heading. Rich Miles' vocals have the
slashed and burnt feeling of RESSURECTION and even RORSCHACH, not just expressing desperation, but making you feel it. Team this with lyrical
sensibilities and introspection somewhere between MARGINAL MAN and BATTERY, and DC has a new force to be reckoned with.

GIANT ?Song? (Southern Empire) CD - $8
"Song," the debut EP from anarcho-doom metal band, Giant, marks the second release from Southern Empire Records. 5 lengthy songs of political, yet
introspective, meditation, this CD will appeal to fans of Pelican, Isis, Mono, as well as punk/hardcore kids who still believe that heavy music can be
radical and meaningful. Packaged along the same lines as the environmentally-friendly, unique design of Prayer for Cleansing's The Tragedy, this CD
will appeal to the musical, aesthetic, and political sensibilities of anyone who picks it up.

GO IT ALONE / BLUE MONDAY ?Split? (Rivalry) 7? - $5.50 / CD - $10.50
Vancouver's best have come together to produce this split EP. More than just a hometown to them, Vancouver, British Columbia, not only defines these
two as bands, it has shaped them as people. This record visually and musically showcases the bands, the people, and the common bond that they share.
Each band contributes 3 songs in total: 2 brand new original songs, plus a RESERVE 34 cover (a Vancouver band from the past). These 6 songs are along
the same lines as those featured on each band's respective LPs: socio-charged melodic hardcore that suggests there's still so much more left to say
than simply regurgitating the usual hardcore dogmas. However, particular departures from the LPs do exist, most notably GO IT ALONE's hardest song to
date, "Ovaltine", and BLUE MONDAY's continuation down a more melodic path. This isn't just an amalgamation of b-sides and sub-par songs thrown
together and titled a "split", this is a collection of songs and a release that stands proudly on its own. COLORED VINYL: White.

Biohazard to Obituary, Madball to Megadeth, and everything in between. 11 songs about the duality of life and living; the triumph of rising to the
top, the devastation of sinking to the bottom, and the mind-numbing realities of living in the middle.

INTEGRITY have been a band surrounded by myth, controversy, and legend for much of their now 15 year existence. Along with fellow Cleveland monsters
Ringworm, INTEGRITY are one of the few responsible for laying the foundation for metallic hardcore as we know it. Not only dictating, but literally
defining the wave of musical darkness that continuously influences those at the forefront of today's aggressive music scene (Re: Hatebreed, Converge,
Terror). INTEGRITY "To Die For" MCD/LP is a true reclamation of the throne for INTEGRITY. Produced and engineered by Ben Schigel (Ringworm, Chimaira),

RAMALLAH ?Kill a Celebrity? (Thorp) CD- $12.50
RAMALLAH is the product of Rob "White Trash" Lind (BLOOD FOR BLOOD, SINNERS AND SAINTS) taking a quick snapshot of the current turmoil of the world
with the angry camera of his soul. RAMALLAH is a horrifying window into the sheer depravity and brutality that has resulted from the mantra of an eye
for an eye and the credo of "do unto others as they have done unto you". RAMALLAH seeks to expose the ugliness of the bloodshed we get a sneak peak of
in the evening news. Rob explains, "We live in terrible times. People should be terrified and horrified and disgusted at what's going on in this world
and in their name every single day. Ramallah is here to shove it all right down their throats." Musically, RAMALLAH blends apocalyptic metal and
chorus-oriented hardcore with eerie melody to result in a potent style of aggressive music. On RAMALLAH's debut full length, "Kill A Celebrity", Rob
cohesively blends the best elements of metal, hardcore, punk, and rock 'n' roll, to create a challenging, disturbing, and thoroughly convicting, epic
masterpiece that is as much political and prophetic as it is personal and revealing. RAMALLAH's main lyrical thrust is to uncover the death, disease,
and sickness that is the world's current climate, and that is prevalent in the facade of contemporary pop culture. For Fans Of: SLAYER, BLOOD FOR
BLOOD, HATEBREED, and SYSTEM OF A DOWN.

SUICIDE FILE ?Some Mistakes You Never Stop Paying For? (Indecision) CD - $11.50
This is an 18-track posthumous collection of odds and ends from one of the very best bands to have emerged from the Boston hardcore scene in recent

SWORN ENEMY ?The Beginning of the End? (Abacus) CD - $12
Produced by Tim Lambesis (frontman for As I Lay Dying), engineered by Steve Russell, and mixed by Zeuss (The Red Chord, Shadows Fall), The Beginning
Of The End pulverizes even the most calloused listener. Recorded at Big Fish studios in San Diego, CA, during June 2005, the new record takes the
hostility and conviction of the band to a new level of destruction. Ushering in a new age of crossover, paved by acts such as Anthrax, Agnostic Front
and other New York vets, you can now add Sworn Enemy to the list of bands forming a caustic hybrid of thrashy, intense metal with the thud and grit of
hardcore.

THINK I CARE ?World Asylum? (Bridge 9) CD - $12
Think I Care has only recently begun to earn the respect and recognition they've long deserved. Musically, picture four guys who grew up on early 80s
Boston hardcore, give them copies of Celtic Frost's "Morbid Tales" and Sheer Terror's "Just Can't Hate Enough" and witness the mongrel it spawns.
Lyrically, singer Jason Clegg's bitter and spiteful words reflect growing up an outcast in the industrial town of Winchendon, Mass, hit hard by
factory closings and economic recession. Winchendon also has a rich tradition of producing some of the ugliest sounding hardcore to ever come out of
the state, and Think I Care is no exception. Never dramatic, these guys play the best kind of har
