Im going to the Gorilla Biscuits on Saturday.... that will be the first show Ive been to in quite a long time.

Oddly enough we've got a pile of good shows coming up in the next two months.

I'm 36 and I go to more shows than I'd like, most of them are because I'm friends with someone in the band.
As for shows I really want to see, Murphy's Law are playing Rex's in West Chester in September and maybe the SOIA 20th anniversary show in NYC. There
just aren't enough bands I give a fuck about anymore to want to leave the house

Rex's doesn't promote for shit. I hate that place.
If any of youz go to a chow there, lemme know, since I live right near by.

im 35 and still go to 100+ shows a year. i travel for shows constantly as well.
however, i dont have a house, a wife or kids so this is easy for me.

I stopped going to shows completely for about 4-5 years in my late 20's, usual thing with the guys I hung around with moving away, getting married,
growing out of the music, usual shit... but when I hit 30 I decided to get back into it and started going to shows on my own for a while, met some
great new friends and for a few years we were hitting like 1-2 shows a week.
But the last year or two the metalcore thing has really taken hold so there's so few new "hardcore" bands I'm interested in seeing, plus there's not
many of the old school bands touring, so we're down to maybe 1-2 a month now and most of those ain't even hardcore. Lucky I like some rock/folk/pop
type stuff too otherwise it'd be a long fuckin' wait for a decent show...
Saw Agnostic front twice last month and 100 demons are playing in a few weeks so hey things could be worse. Also gonna see Dresden dolls again soon,

I heard things of a Ramallah show In Philly soon, but have not seen anything confirmed anywhere.
