Resolution Progress

OK, we are a few weeks in, how is everyone holding up? making strides?

I'm 2.2 pounds away from goal. The trouble I'll have is maintaining it. No worries.

My bench press is slowly gaining. I think I'm at 240 right now. So I'm 60 pounds shy.

I have barely run. It has been WAY too hot but I've been on the treadmill doing sprints. I'll get there.

three pounds away from my goal, and still no alcohol. i miss you, whiskey.
no biking yet (see heat reference above), but plenty of yard work.

Down a couple of pounds but there's a lot of work ahead of me. Started yoga today.

thats awsome about the no drink rule. the only times i've skipped a beer or so in the past few years were on very severe occasions like the flu or when i had an allergic reaction to something and my face blew up like i'd gone 9 rounds with tyson, minus the ear biting.

I haven't checked my weight but..... I got a job! Started this past monday and have been training all week (hence why I haven't been around here much). I am the asshole that calls you up when your bills go into collections. Don't hate me!

Full time, 12:30-9:00pm, $10.00/hr, plus a NICE bonus program (some people pull an extra $1,000 a month).

So far I put XnMeX in the lead for this "contest". I know it has been tough getting a gig. I'm making little progress on mine but I did run 3.7 miles monday when it was about 95 degrees out. I also had to drop the bar in trying to bench 215 one more time then I actually could. I have a wicked bruise on my arm. Chicks dig that shit.

I ran 2.9 miles in 24 minutes yesterday. I have a chest cold (slowly going away), there were intermittent hills and PeteyReed83 (my dog) was dragging towards the end.

So tomorrow I'm headed to a track and I'm just going to fucking go for it.
