Band shirts that ripp off other band shirts...

I know lots of people hate them, but in general I'm a big fan. I was just looking at some online and thought it might be an interesting thread. Anyone got any others to add?

GUNS UP (LEEWAY)

RIGHT BRIGADE (SLAPSHOT

MENTAL (AGNOSTIC FRONT)

IN MY EYES (MEATMEN)

IN MY EYES (D.R.I.)

SHARK ATTACK (WARZONE)

ENSIGN (DESCENDENTS)

ENSIGN (MINOR THREAT)

FLOORPUNCH (RAW DEAL)

FLOORPUNCH (SMORGASBORD)

DEATH THREAT (BLACK FLAG)

COLIN OF ARABIA (SLAPSHOT)

TERROR (WARZONE)

It's a great ode to bands of the past.

I really dig the Colin of Arabia shirt.

Ive got a Comeback Kid shirt that apparently rips off a Turning Point shirt. I didnt realize it when I bought it. I'll try to find some pics to compare.

I like parody shirts, but when they aren't different at all (like the Guns up / leeway shit) I think it's gay. All the others are cool, that guns up one is TOO similar and for no real reason it seems.

The Guns Up/Leeway one is just a rip of Da Vinci. Frenzal Rhomb used the same design except with a camel.

Everyone uses the baseball style with the last letter underlining the band name these days. I got a new Ringworm shirt on the weekend with it, From The Ruins from Perth used it & my Backhand shirt which has since vanished had the same design as do dozens of others.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Ahhhh thats right... The NORTH SIDE KINGS. I forgot about that one!!

I dont really care for Comeback Kid, but that Turning Point ripp off is really well done.

As far as the GUNS UP one being the Da Vinci drawing, thats true, but in this case it was obviously used as a tribute (ripp off) to Leeway. Its even done in the Leeway font.
