I used to go in there when it was around 100 users, about 2-3 years ago now. Last night there was 500 users and half of them didnt share or couldnt
view lists haha. So I sit in the Broken Glass room instead.

I jsut downloaded and RUN the program to cdrive temporary folder. After it loaded it jsut took me back to the link page. WHAT NEXT?

So I'm on slouseek now. what next? It looks jsut like a mesageboard and thats it? I though you can get some music from this site? How do i do that?

You can join various chat rooms too. The Punk/Hardcore/Grind room used to be good but now its over crowded & shitty.
I sit in the Broken Glass room, its getting bigger. Aussie based webzine, www.brokenglassonline.com all the forum users on SLSK seem to chat there while leeching music.

I clicked "SEARCH" not "search files" I can't find that on the board. when i typed in killing joke it took me to some dudes blog or message he posted.

Haha what the hell did you get? When you run Soulseek it should open a Web window, similar to the Status screen in mIRC. Click on Search & opens a
search window.
You can join chat rooms too listed on the right side. I hang in Broken Glass which may not be listed.

it sounds like you were on the "web" tab in soulseek and you clicked "forum" which takes you to the soulseek forums. that's a regular messageboard
