Anyone ever quit smoking?

As the title tells, have any of you people ever tried to quit smoking? I'm gonna do it again and it's probably the tenth time this year. So anyone have any tips?

Yes, I quit almost 4 years ago. I picked a date (about 4 months in advance) and decided to stick to it. I have never looked back.

Best decision I have ever made.

Good to see that at least somone could do it. I thought everything was going OK today, and it did for four hours or so. Back to square one again I guess.

I don't think I can make it ever. As soon as I go out drinking I tend to start smoking a lot. Last time I was at a gig I smoked three packs in a day. That's pretty fucked up. Almost as fucked up as my lungs.
