The funniest thing just happened to me
I decided that i felt like tossing back some drinks tonight so I ran out to the liquor store and got some beers and a bottle of whiskey.
Here's the funny part.
As I was walking to my car two kids, about 15 or 16, were walking past me. One of them looked at the Bruisers shirt I'm wearing and said "The
Bruisers, that's the band with the singer that sounds like a fag!" His friend was quick to agree as well as add some comments of his own. I was
about to give them a lesson in etiquette with a steel-toe to the head when I noticed they were both wearing nice new Dropkick Murphy's shirts. The
irony was not lost on me.
I asked if they knew who the singer of the Bruisers was, they said that faggot guy. I asked if they knew the name of DKM's singer. They said Al
Burr. I said no, it's Al BARR, and he was the singer for the Bruisers. They said I was stupid and didn't know shit about "real" punk rock.
Needless to say, I laughed at them as I walked away.

A friend of mine was DJ'ing a Ska night at a bar here in town and my buddy and me were tossing back drinks sitting at a table and this kid comes and
sits down at the table behind and he's bitching to his friend about the DJ. So I cocked up my ears, and he's saying to his buddy, "I fuckin' requested
The Bosstones and he won't play the fuckin Bosstones. The Bosstones invented Ska." I had quite a little chuckle.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

Another tale of idiocy for you. I was at a show once back in the late 90's. I think it was Blood For Blood. I was walking past a table full of of 8
16-17 year old kids. They were ALL wearing Sick Of It All shirts. Made me laugh cause all of the shirts looked brand spanking new, like "hey, we're
going to a hardcore show, let's wear our hardcore shirts." As I was walking past they were all looking at me and one of them said "holy shit, there's
a skinhead here!" As always I laughed my drunken ass off. I asked them if they knew anything about hardcore., They claimed to be the biggest fans
of said genre. I had to inform them that I was not the only skinhead at the show, and that without skinheads hardcore wouldn't be what it is. They
looked very confused. I asked if they had ever heard of bands like Agnostic Front or the Cro-Mags. They looked very confused.
Idiot kids.
