I love Living Colour. Vivid(1st record w/ Cult of Personality) is decent, but their 2nd one, Times Up, is fucking awesome. Every song seems to have a different influence, rock, metal, punk, reggae, funk. Its probably one of favorite non-core records. If you get a chance I would suggest checking it out.
