Gory Days & the Freestyle albums are good, haven't heard newer stuff yet.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Necro is fucking sick. As well as Ill Bill. If you like that shit have a listen to Jedi Mind Tricks, Army of the Pharos, La Coka Nostra, and the new Outerspace album. You will like that shit for sure.

Necro sux. I thought he was alright when I first heard him but he's a one trick pony. He uses the same vocal pattern over and over again ad nauseam. His last couple of CDs have been his worst yet.

Never heard Outerspace but I agree with your other choices, good shit. What about Immortal Technique? Revolutionary Vol II is awesome.

no desire to check that out. Sorry. I heard a song before and thought it was terrible.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I agree. I like Necro, but you only need to own 1 cd by him.... Not one in particular... Pick one, they are all the same.
