Thats really weird... me and my friend Jay that went to Bad Brains were just talking about how Earth Crisis should do a reunion while we were driving
home from NYC!
We also talked about how JUDGE should get together so lets hope that comes true next!

while i'm sure boy george there is excited, who fucking cares? earth crisis sucked. they were the farthest thing from a hardcore band. they were the
final nail in the coffin. the fact that douchebag kids consider them an old school hardcore band now just makes me laugh. i'd like to go just so i
could pelt them with rotten meat.

I liked their early stuff like Destroy the Machines, but I could care less that they're getting back together. That whole show looks like shit for
the most part.

I saw them a bunch of times in Detroit. One time they played with Skarhead, Madball and Hatebreed and Boston Mike beat the shit out of some SE fruit
that was pissed off because Boston Mike was killing people on the floor. hahahaha it was one of the best things I have ever seen at a hardcore show.
Still to this day want to know why the hell Earth Crisis and Skarhead were on the same bill.

Well what the hell else do you expect to happen at a Hatebreed, Madball, Skarhead show in Detroit. You dance hard to those bands, thats what they are
all about.

I expect to see a few bands without fearing for life and limb. Don't feed me any of this "hardcore aint supposed to be safe" crap either, it's
knuckleheaded bullshit adopted by knuckleheads to further justify their being fuckin knuckleheads. I think it's funny how you always here about these
"tough guys" beatin on kids or "fruits" at shows and if they encounter someone who poses an actual threat they gang up on said threat with as many as
they can. I'm no tough guy, and would have my ass handed to me by most of these thugs, but that dosen't make them cool or respectable in my book. fuck
em all in the eye and fall off the face of the earth.

Point taken. However, in my show days I danced hard at shows because I was into that shit then. I got hit hard, and fucked up lots of times, but I
liked that shit as well. It all just came with the territory I guess. No matter now I can't be bothered to go to shows anymore, rather stay at the gym
or some club with hot assed chics and all my friends around.

Its totally cool that you danced hard because you were into it and that you actually liked getting hit hard and occasionally fucked up. The problem is
that not everyone else does/did. I like to be able to stand with in 100 feet of the stage and not have to worry that Im going to get sucker punched
because Im wearing a shirt of a band that someone else doesnt like or because Im not 'HARD ENOUGH!'.
It may be a sad fact that it 'comes with the territory' but it really shouldnt have to....

EARTH CRISIS kicked ass.
Everyone that talks the shit used to jam out FIRESTORM on the turntable. We know the score.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Got ya, but to hell with sucker punching anyone and I never really cared what the hell someone else was wearing. It was the music, when the breakdonw
from Prepare For War by Hatebreed came donw and there was like 30 mother fuckers just tearing shit up I was there in the middle in heaven. That was
what hardcore was for me, madness, chaos, violence and how the brutality of the music just made you snap. On the other hand if I was at an H2O show I
just chilled and watched the band, because there music is not about all that other shit.

As I look at my music library I see severl EC albums. I have no idea why. I'm not SXE, vegan or whatever. I LOVED their live album though. Still
listen to it at least once a month.
I too saw them on the Skarhead/Hatebreed/Madball tour. It was one of thebest nights of my life. At the end of the show all the bands came out so EC
could play Firestorm. jasta got the whole thing going. It was an awesome vibe.
Fuck it, I'm turning EC the rest of the day in the office.
P.S. The EC above is a total fuck face.

ooh, as a follow up. I only understand about 3% of the lyrics when listening. Even when follow along in the liner notes.

I liked the first 2 7"s and saw them a bunch in 93-94, but I gave up after Destroy the Machines came out. I was sort of losing interest in them, but
was still semi-excited for that Lp to come out. Bought it, listened to it once, never listened again. Sucked. Don't think I heard any of their
stuff after that.
I still rock the 7"s once or twice a year, but that's about it.
Not that I care, but I thought I read that they are playing New Years Day as well.
I can't believe they haven't played in 5 years. I thought they just broke up recently.
My mind is Clear, Free from hurt. My mind is Clear, Value its worth!
