Screeching Weasel
Does anyone like this band. I know it's pop punk, but god dammit I love this band. Cheezy catchy leads and all.

I know htey have been around a while but i never heard.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Major Label Debut is amazing & so is pretty much everything else they have done. I got a massive Screeching Weasel collection on LP & CD.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Again awsome band, same with Pinhead Gunpowder, which now anyone would consider a Green Day rip off or "pop" punk cause they never heard of them until
other "punk" bands where cool.

They are ok. I have some of their CD's and many of my friends liked this band a lot. I guess much like Blink 182 I out grew them. None the less still
a good band.

I haven't heard this band in years... on a similar note, I always favored the Queers. Basically different guys playing the same tunes, but they were
all cool. The Queers had a tune about Ben Weasel... went "Ben Weasel, he's an asshole. Ben Weasel, he's a jerk."

Their split with born against was pretty awesome, I think they agreed ahead of time that each band would write the lyrics for the other but keep their
own music, I can't imagine two funnier bands to make such an agreement.
