texas chainsaw massacre

Finally saw the remake of the movie last night and then watched the original today and just cant believe how different they are. one is a big hollywood almost action movie and the other is just a creepy look into insanity, jessica biels looked great in the new one but i'll take the orignal anyday. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

The original kicks the shit outta the remake. If the original didn't exist and the remake was a brand new movie, it would never be the classic that the original is. My small tenuous personal connection to the original is that I went to High School with the son of the truck driver at the end of the movie. I also lived in a house that was supposedly used as a set in one of the later, crappier sequels, but I'm not sure which one. That house was definitely creepy enough for that though.

I am interested in the prequel, but I may just wait for the video.
