North Side Kings leaving Thorp?

i just read an interview, and they said they are lookin for a label for the new album. I thought it was coming out on Thorp.

I knew Todd moved out to AZ but who the fuck new it was such a haven for Hardcore.

It still fascinated me how band members who live on seperate coasts make that shit work.

I would hope not, especially considering how much Thorp has been promoting the release. MAybe he meant a Euro label or something like that.

yeah, you might be right since it was a Euro zine that did the interview.
i hope that is the case.

Either way both NSK & Thorp are still awesome.

Doesn't sound like it...

"I have been getting alot of messages from everyone asking how I am feeling. Sorry I am so slow on getting back to everyone. But I am feeling ten billion times better. We started practicing again last week and we have a show with Murphy's Law in early December here in Phoenix. So we are getting back on the ball!

I am honored that I was showered in so much support from everyone, I appreciate it more than you can imagine.

So we are getting back on track. We are shopping our new record, thats why their is no release date yet! Also looking into going back to NYC to make up those shows we ended up having to cancel.

So hang tight, plan on hearing something from us soon!

Thanks again!

Danny" - Posted as a myspace bulletin.

Strange, no reply in this thread from BD. Do I smell a cover-up? A conspiracy? Did Andy not give them enough steak?:D

I emailed Danny about this yesterday. Here's his reply;

"Yea we decided we need a change, Thorp is a great guy but a change of label sometimes adds a little pick up to a band. We feel like we need a little pick up if that makes any sense. "

somehow I think this thread must end. It seems a touchy issue. Whatever the case it sucks.
