strange questions from strange people
So last night I went to this birthday party with my girlfriend for her friend's child. The kid was turning 1. I hadn't yet met many of her old
friends, as many of them are now married, have kids and have moved on or away from good ol Upper Darby ,PA. Everyone was nice, friendly and the beer
was flowing fine. Had me some food and made for the deck outside. We sit down chill for a bit. I was introduced to the birthday boys's daddy. He comes
at me with "hey didn't you used to be a "hammer Skin"". At this point I grow kind of confused. I'm like "No dude". Then he proceeds to ask me" were
you white poweror skin this or some crap? I just kind of look at him crookedly and confirm this no answer. This is where I begin to grow a bit
uncomfortable. I had ben informed prior to the party that dude had some militant christian beleifs or some crap and was like whatever. Turns out him
and this one other goon there are wrapped up in some odd christian neo nazi shit. I shoulda been able to spot this other dude from the minute I got
there but whatever, last place i expected to see these people being that i really cant remember the last time i even saw nazi skins in a public place.
Later on I see the 2 goons talking to an older man who was joking at them with a nazi salute. This was on our way out. Dude says something to me again
about Hammer Skins. I just walked past him and out the door not acknowledging it. Part of me wanted to knock his teeth out then and there. A few years
ago I may have but las of latley I'm way more chill. Honestly, I don't even know why I find these goons so offensive. I mean whatever. Stupid people
have stupid things happen to them. And honestly I never heard anyone ever utter the phrase Hammer Skin outside of internet shit. We went and got
sixpacks and went back to my house and I put on my old Dead Kennedys records. And funny enough on side B was Nazi Punks Fuck Off....
