problem solved

i liberated this metal shelf from my garage. the surface is powder coated and is a little rough, so i threw down some cardboard on the shelves so the jackets don't get all torn up.

its the Benno CD Tower from Ikea, $40 each. They hold 180 CDs. I like 'em cause of their small footprint, the fact that they're modular, and that since it's ikea, they'll probably always be available.

I'll be looking into one of those. What are they about 5-6ft high?

You should look into one of three tiered floating wall shelfs, they hold 750-900 easily.

Did you move the shelves or were they just conveniently perfect?

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

on the metal shelf with the records? they're all fixed at 13" high and about 14" deep.

of course now all the things that were on that shelf while it was in the garage are now sitting on my work bench, rendering it next to useless. but, a similarly sized plastic shelf can be had at the home depot for like $20, so that's ok.

It almost looks like it was made for LP's.
