raincheck registered for the board, then made a single 'check out my band' post with a half dozen links to his/her band's myspace page. as that
typically goes over like a lead balloon around here, the replies were not at all unexpected. raincheck did, however, go with a power move, and delete
his/her thread-starting post with all of the links.

i'm always up for checkign out something new, but honestly, i do appreciate a little effort. at least tell me you like some of the bands on my label,
or "if you're a fan of this thorp band, you might like us".

Its kinda like sittin down for a game of poker winning the first hand and leaving.
Maybe there should a thread dedicated to "check out my band" posts. You could sticky it or something. I'd hate to miss out on something good just cuz
some poor kid didn't realize he walked into a room full of jaded old fuckers (I include myself in said company). And we could have fun trashing all
the bands (that suck).
