THE LIFE AQUATIC is one of the best movies ever made. That movie is just simply awsome.

I saw TELEDAGA NIGHTS ballad of Ricky Bobby this weekend and I thought it sucked. Some very funny parts but it seemed like a movie with no direction or whatever. Just a bunch of funny and some really corney jokes.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

American Haunting....fell asleep for 48 seconds woke up completely lost. Nearest I can tell its about ghosts and incest.
Lucky Numver Slevin...started off real slow but made up for it big time, great scene with Freeman and Kingsley

took the kids to see eragon
meh...
same old shit
some scenes are straight mid evil rip offs of star wars...
the young farm boy comes back to his house to fins his uncle has been slain and his aging mentor says if yu would have been here you you have been killed too...

brokeback is so-so
my biggest problem with it was the development of the love story
I just think it was underdeveloped...
okay they loved each other, but how did they really come to that point
what emotion bond did they build, other then 2 people being alone on a mountain...
okay they were alone in their other lives as well, but what made them choose to love love each other
do you fall in love with every person you work closely with?
I'd have the same problem with it if it was a guy and a girl or 2 girls
I just don't think they worked that part of the story very well

Life aquatic is funny, but I think it's been hyped by hipsters

REALLY good.

Might I also recommend Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang with Val Kilmer and Robert Downey Jr.

I watched a bit of the Ricky Bobby flick and passed out. I'll finish it tonight, but not near as funny as I expected.

I dont really watch movies. I watched reruns of that show Everest: Beyond the Limit for most of the evening. The final show in tomorrow night, and Im psyched. I watched so much shit about Everest yesterday that last night I dreamt that I was on an expedition to the summit.

Rent InuYahsa, Fullmetal, and Gunslinger Girls. They're awesome. I'll also suggest Neon Genesis Evangelion (it gets really fucked up near the end), Martian Successor Nadesico (sp?), Samurai Champloo, and S-Cry-ed. Oh...Cowboy Bebop as well!

I like that movie, the scene where Bill Murray starts kicking some pirate ass while "search and destroy" plays is one of the finest moments in the history of cinematography.
