My New MP3 PLayer

I bought it off ebay last week. I got an RCA Lyra Sport. I'm stoked. It is a 512m and is small. My current one is a 30 gig Creative Zen Jukebox. It is a lug in the gym and when I'm running.

I can't wait to get my hands on this thing.

have you seen the ipod + nike collaboration? http://www.apple.com/ipod/nike/run.html
the nike portion is just that they make shoes with a slot for a transmitter; you don't really need that. the apple portion is that the ipod displays you distance and pace and can broadcast that info in between songs at a predetermined interval. there's also a website that you can upload your running history to and compare with others using the same equipment. http://www.apple.com/ipod/nike/sync.html

I have seen ads for it. That shit is crazy isn't it? It would be great to have but I'm sure it is pretty expensive. I have yet to find a good running shoe from Nike. I'm a New Balance guy. In fact, I'm in the market for some new wheels soon. I'm pushing 265 miles on mine.

Other running gadgets are the Garmin Forerunner. It has GPS to help you log distance. The coolest thing I like is it has a virtual training partner. Basically, you race them in your runs. It's pretty cool but still pricey. That leaves me to jsut racing my dog.

I too was tempted at getting the Sansa. It is priced a little higher then the RCA and the RCA was a "sport". Not sure which one really is better though. So far so good on this little RCS deal but I'd love to hear about the Sansa as well.
