ripping cd's question

I have a couple cd's that I wanted to rip to my computer for windows media player and they will not rip. When I load them the media player doesn't even notice it or read it. Anyone know why this is? Its not just 1 cd I have a couple that do that.

I just picked up a used copy of EXODUS fabulous disaster on cd yesterday and it wont read on the computer. It plays through on 2 stereos and has no scratches. Its in great shape.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Are the CD's readable by Winamp or any other players? If you go to Explorer does it detect a disc in the CD-ROM drive?

Right click Start and go to Explore then check your CD drive to see if there is a disc present, should be in .cda format off the CD.

You might be able to try a different ripping program if Media Player doesn't pick it up, had the same problem with some CD's here a while back.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
